The Streamlined K4 was conceptualized by Raymond Loey, a famous Art-Deco designer. This engine followed the trend of the 1940s in terms of style and construction and was fashioned from (4) standard versions of the K4 that were used with passenger lines like the South Wind and Jeffersonian. The Streamlined K4 would go on to become the Pennsylvania Railroad’s long-distance engine.
This beautiful N-scale recreation of the Streamlined K4 features an Econami Sound Value DDC w/Soundtraxx package and features a host of wonderful sound options ranging from bells, coupler close/releases, air pumps, dynamos, brakes, momentum, and so much more and all in 16-bit polyphonic sound!
