Bussinger Trains is a full service Model Toy Train Store located in the heart of Ambler, Pennsylvania in the Old Ambler Train Station, part of SEPTA's Lansdale - Doylestown Line to Philadelphia. (Old R5 Line)
The store was established in 1992 by Charles B. Bussinger, an electrician and lifetime train enthusiast. Charlie built his business and after 25 years it had grown into a center for all things in the model train industry. When Charlie passed in 2014, he left the business to his daughter Stephanie Dodson, a graphic designer and toy enthusiast. She and her husband Andrew plan to keep the business running with the same tradition and enthusiasm as when her father ran it.
While most of the Model Toy Train in-store items are O and O-27 Gauge Trains and Accessories, some select HO, S and G Gauge items are also available, along with Rockets, Pinewood Derby Cars, Tin Toys and Kids Wooden Trains, Vehicles and Accessories. Special orders and catalog orders are always welcome. Bussinger Trains caters to customers all over the country looking for retail sales, layaway, full service repairs, restoration and accessory customization.
